BioTeSys is based in Esslingen and was founded in 1999 as a spin-off of the Institute of Biological Chemistry and Nutrition of the University of Hohenheim. Biotesys is a partner in the development and implementation of new concepts in the cosmetic, food and consumer health care/OTC sector. The range of services includes screening methods for measuring the bioactive potential of substances or substance mixtures, in-vitro test procedures using single cell cultures, co-cultures and various organotypic culture models, as well as clinical trials.
