Bionolux is the world's first social-emotional wearable that offers to-the-moment, unadulterated feedback on the consumer experience. Bionolux, The Social Wearables Company - is a spin-out of the MIT Media Laboratory. Its very low-cost BE@trade; sensor offers instant, unadulterated abstract feedback on the emotional response system. When someone experiences pleasure, fear, anger and other more complex emotions, BE@trade; continuously responds by transforming skin conductance (a measure of emotional arousal) into a light display. This transmission of signals cannot be suppressed or controlled by the mind. We suggest manifold applications ranging from ambulatory self-feedback to communication between partners or large audiences, and that social devices will be key in the next era of wearable technology.
