Bionic Solar Inc has developed a unique optical element that increases solar cell efficiency by 5% capturing over 90% of light from all angles. We are able to achieve this using a system of refraction and reflection. The problem is 30% of light that hits the surface of a solar cell is reflected. What we've done to solve that problem is recycle that 30% that is normally reflected and capture 70% of it. This enables solar cells to which our optics are applied to capture over 90% of light that hits its surface. We are also able to capture and refract light coming in from all angles due to the ingenuous design of the optics. This increases the solar cells efficiency on average by 5%.
