Ever wondered if one day, beer could generate energy? Or your coffee from day to day? And how about orange juice? Well, that's our proposal. We transform waste into clean and sustainable energy, with neutral emission of greenhouse gases, protecting the environment. We were born during the Hackathon promoted by AB-InBev, held in the city of Rio de Janeiro in September 2018. We proposed this solution to transform its bagasse into clean energy, reusing a large part of its waste in an intelligent and ecologically correct way: the waste generated in the process, reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and replacing conventional fossil fuels. We base ourselves on the premise that there is no waste, only resources destined inefficiently. Malt bagasse is highly caloric and contains valuable compounds, making it an ideal raw material for the production of clean fuels - such as our bio-coal.
