Biocolor Ltd have developed a unique range of extracellular matrix assays for use with mammalian cells, tissues and fluids. We distribute life science assays to universities and medical research institutes around the world. Our assays use dyes that bind to natural polymers such as complex carbohydrate, peptides and proteins. The process usually requires isolation of the target molecule or selectively altering the dye binding reaction conditions. We have produced a range of novel assays for microgram detection and measurement levels. We are located in Northern Ireland in the small town of Carrickfergus, 20 km north of Belfast. The town is of note for its fine Norman Castle, and being the home of Biocolor!
