BioCifer is creating a powerful new approach to improve the efficiency of rapid diagnostics. We connect researchers and industry partners to develop assays that detect multiple diseases or biomarkers in a simple easy-to use detection platform. Our technology is based on the same technology behind that at-home pregnancy test, known as the lateral flow assay. In the course of their research, scientists often make reagents that are suitable for the development of rapid disease assays. BioCifer provides the technical capability to combine reagents from multiple researchers and industries, produce prototype devices, and validate their effectiveness for disease detection.
