Schaeffler Bio-Hybrid GmbH headquartered in Nuremberg is a fully owned subsidiary of the Schaeffler Group. As a pioneer in the field of electric mobility, we are currently developing the Bio-Hybrid to production level and will be launching the vehicle on the market at the end of 2020. The Bio-Hybrid stands for a new, contemporary form of personal urban mobility and means of transportation. As a roofed four-wheeled Pedelec, it is a mix of a small electric car and an electric bicycle. The advantages over a conventional automobile are obvious: zero emissions, cost efficiency, space-saving design, ideally suited for urban transportation and, thanks to the roof, independent of weather conditions.
