Majority of the company was acquired by VMP Group in February 2010 from the founder Tom Laine, who remained as the CEO and minority shareholder of BI-IT Solutions Ltd Oy. The rest of the company was acquired by the main shareholder VMP Group in November 2010. Tom Laine announced stepping down late November 2010 and is leaving the company by end of February 2011 latest.
