About company

BihurCrystal has develops technical solutions and equipment for vacuum and ultra-high vacuum applications in surface science experiments. The company was born in 2013 as a start-up project with support from Centro de Física de Materiales (CFM) and the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) of San Sebastián, Spain. The early stages of the project received guidance and financial support from BIC Berrilan through Entreprenari, a program that backs and guides emerging businesses. Today it receives venture capital funding from BASQUE FCR (Gestión de Capital Riesgo del País Vasco) and is financed in part by the provincial government of Gipuzkoa and the state-owned enterprise ENISA (Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism).
