Bigas Alsina is dedicated to the construction of machinery for the meat industry and the manufacture of steam generators. At the beginning of the 20th century, BIGAS ALSINA, SA, created a small boiler workshop dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of steam generators and pressure vessels. Our activity was soon linked to companies in the meat sector, which still exist in the vicinity of the company. Together with these companies BIGAS ALSINA, SA developed machinery that was adapted to the different needs that arose, and learned to adapt to the changes, sometimes important, which the meat sector has to face often. This relationship has been maintained until today, where in our facilities we continue to manufacture and provide technical solutions to the new needs and challenges that arise in the market.
