Bear started out of this idea that security needs to be invisible, adaptable and collaborative. What they thought was a simple effort ended up taking three years to develop, three more years to prove theirselves and most of 2016 to package in a manner understandable to non-security experts. That said, their mission has never changed and literally every technical/security guru that has seen what they are really doing has wanted to join their effort. Bear Is not simply building some random technology – they are really revolutionizing the entire cybersecurity world and how people will live online moving forward. They have been around the block and seen a large number of startup efforts with unrealistic expectations.
