We are just getting started and will be organizing an event to get together and discuss how we can make Baltimore Bitcoin-friendly. At this stage we are looking for new members to join the association and help out in any way possible. We will all be using our skill-sets to further Bitcoin adoption in the area, and to help the local community benefit from the advantages of the digital currency. So if your background is in marketing, PR, technology, sales, event planning, writing, or you just enjoy meeting new people, you can help! The Baltimore Bitcoin Association will provide a space for anyone who has an idea or wants to organize an event that helps spread awareness of Bitcoin can get involved. We plan to have monthly meetings at different locations in Baltimore that are willing to accept bitcoin as payment. The association’s initiatives aim to raise awareness of Bitcoin and the potential of block chain technology in Baltimore.
