It addresses the lag (2-3 days) in identifying contamination in food shipped to the market, water supplied for drinking and hospital-borne infections. Its technology can quickly and easily identify live bacteria from dead one and selected strains of bacteria, allowing fast diagnosis of pathogens in the food before shipping, avoiding cost of recalls and lost reputation, around the clock monitoring of water supply and patients in hospitals or in the local clinics.
