Avid Sports, based in Lowell, Mass., unveiled the sports industry's first digital editor, SportsPro*, in 1994. Since then, the Avid Sports suite of products has grown to include tools for coaching analysis, player development, statistics gathering, real-time web publishing and event presentation, as well as online media management and archiving.
