The Agatha and Umberto Taffel-Umber Metropolitan Centre for Prosperity and Education was founded in 2014 by members of the Taffel-Umber family. The fellowships commemorate the name of the Taffel-Umber family and its’ long commitment for the prosperity and education of the Jewish people in the diaspora. The Foundation provides fellowships to Jewish women across Europe with the purpose of encouraging and nurturing their academic studies. Fellowships are granted based on merit and ground-breaking research.
