ATR-Trek is a pioneer in speech recognition and language translation technology in Japan. It developed and improved new technology based on the basic technologies developed for over 20 years at Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR). Its product is the “Shabette Honyaku for A”, an automatic speech translation service for smartphones. It is an application that gives voice translation by talking towards the smartphone. It was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
