Aspen trees are unique for developing new trees out of existing root structures. By giving students the fundamental “building blocks” that all jobs require (attention to detail, effective communication, collaboration, etc.) Aspen Fellows will be empowered to launch their careers and succeed after graduation. The 2020 Aspen Fellowship created 50 internships that will allow Fellows to complete an in-depth analysis and final presentation with an Advisor this summer. These 50 projects will not only build sharper, more experienced candidates, but will also forge stronger connections between mentors and future leaders in the African-American community.
