Asia Internet Coalition (AIC) is an industry association formed by [eBay](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ebay), [Facebook](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/facebook), [Google](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/google), and [Yahoo](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/yahoo). It seeks to promote the understanding and resolution of internet policy issues in the Asia Pacific region. In 2013, Facebook joined as a member of AIC followed by [LinkedIn](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/linkedin) and [Salesforce](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/salesforce). In 2014, [Apple](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/apple) joined AIC as the latest member of the coalition. It has a “Friends of AIC” scheme where other industry groups and independent internet-based companies can partner with it as a growing industry voice in the digital economy of the Asia Pacific region. Asia Internet Coalition was founded in 2010.
