About company

Aprenda Systems was founded by Dr. Alexander Izaguirre in 2013. After having worked in academic medicine as executive director of strategic initiatives at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and CIO at Baylor College of Medicine, he realized that most of the local challenges he was developing solutions for as an IT professional were similar to challenges experienced in all of healthcare. Combining an entrepreneurial spirit with support from both academic medical centers, he negotiated a worldwide exclusive licensing agreement for the core software technology Aprenda Systems utilizes today in its Signature product.
