apogene GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the year 2000. The company´s primary focus is research and development in the field of red biotechnology. Thereby methods are developed, which enable a fast and efficient detection of naturally occuring mutations in agricultural productive livestock. These animals are put into special targeted breeding programs for xenotransplantation. The competent team of apogene GmbH & Co. KG also discovers new fields of application by constant advancements of the screening technique.
