The Anderson Island General Store, which is located near the geographic center of the island, is a place where friends take a moment to catch up with each other, sometimes over a cup of coffee and a goodie... it's where we pick up and send off our packages from the post office. A comment often heard is that folks can't believe the wide variety of items for sale; and many a local resident has had a recipe or home repair problem solved by a trip to the General Store.
