In the early 1970s, mechanical engineering was looking for reliable clamping devices that could meet the requirements of modern production processes. So also the twisting machine manufacturer Saurer-Allma, the parent company of ALLMATIC. Since Saurer-Alma did not find what it was looking for on the market, the company developed a corresponding machine vice itself. That was 1973 - the beginning of the ALLMATIC success story.The universal application options allow a multitude of work steps, which increases the profitability in production many times over.
