13 October 13 Alectrica Motors, LLC is a manufacturer and distributor of fully electric automobiles. Owner and founder , William Matos, a 30 year veteran and third generation family member in the automotive business, has spent the past three years in research and development of the company. Alectrica has acquired the exclusive franchise to distribute the Alectrica brand electric cars in the US, Caribbean, San Juan, Puerto Rico as well as Honduras. The company is ready to launch sales in Tampa, Fl. and Grand Cayman in early November 2013. It has on Island in Grand Cayman an inventory of cars but is awaiting parts inventory before the initial sales launch. The parts inventory is on the way, and upon arrival by 25 October 2013, the grand opening and sales promotion will take place. It was deemed to be not prudent nor fair to the consumer to sell vehicles without proper support for service and parts.
