Aespira Ltd. is an inhaler product company which is setting a new standard for single-use disposable dry-powder inhalers (DPIs). The company is developing a pipeline of novel inhaler products using generic drugs. Aespira’s inhalers are especially appropriate for delivery of drugs requiring prevention of contamination and cross-contamination, simple use by non-trained patients, single-dose and/or non-chronic usage, or clear audible dose confirmation. The company has developed the ActiveMesh technology: A novel and proprietary method of packaging dry-powder drugs within a mesh-based package, and is now developing a disposable and hygienic whistle-shaped inhaler device – the resQhaler.
