ACTA Technology Inc. was started in Boulder, Colorado (2009) as a C type Corporation by Michael Minard and Edward Clancy. ACTA Technology is uniquely positioned as a science-based company with strong commercialization experience. The company focus is nanotechnology. They employ a network of scientists throughout the U.S. ACTA Technology was awarded a National Science Foundation SBIR Grant to research nano fluids which will be used in vapor compression systems to improve the heat transfer properties of the coolants, thereby lowering the energy requirements of these systems.
