3BM Television Ltd. was formed in October 1995 as an independent television company specialising in history, current affairs, popular science and human interest programming. From February 2004 3BM Television became part of the AiM listed media group Ten Alps Communications Plc. There are six directors: Simon Berthon (Chairman), Marion Milne (Director, 3BM West), Keith Hamer (non-executive director), Alex Connock (Director, 3BM/Chief Executive, Ten Alps) and Nitil Patel (Director, 3BM/Executive Finance Director & Company Secretary, Ten Alps), Piers Vellacott (Director of Production and Co-Production).
