Always be cautious
I was clearing my home office table and saw a Ramsey Health receipt from August 2023. I had a stent procedure at a hospital and next day when discharged I was told to collect a prescription item from the Ramsey Health Pharmacy on the ground floor. When I got to the Pharmacy in a somwhat fragile condition, they initially could not find the prescription. Then when found they charged me non PBS prices. When queried the person dismissively and off handedly said it was non PBS. When renewing the prescription my local pharmacist said it was a prescription item. I contacted the Ramsey pharmacy. They initially said I was responsible for the mistake. Subsequently said they would and did reimburse me. I am filing the receipt, payment details and prescription cartoon in my Medical folder just in case Ramsey Pharmacy want to contact me.
