Doors in Morion not honor Chamberlain LT motor warranty

Our garage door would not open. We called Doors in motion and they sent someone right away $125. He did some stuff and told me motor was bad I need to replace unit. We discussed it was only 4 yr old. Doors in Motion had installed it.

tech stated it needed replaced and it would be $125 + $450 for unit. I asked if I could check with Lowes and Chamberlain - he said I could but it would be another $125 for next visit. I went ahead.

Later upon checking, Chamberlain has lifetime warranty on motor and both Chamberlain and Lowes stated if tech would've called they would have given me a new opener. The tech did not write on the invoice why he replaced.

I called and spoke to Mgr of Doors in Motion, and asked if they could call Chamberlain for me or send an email telling me replaced due to bad motor!

Jimmy informed me "Not my job" "I don't have time." Besides he stated it was more then that? who is lying?

Also when the tech installed the new opener, he was only installing new unit and taking other NEW parts. wired remote, new cable, pole, and sensor lights. He said I could wait inside and he would come get me when he was done?

So now, did I need a new opener???
