Hell, no. Entire staff of nurses make nurse Ratched look like a saint. After telling the psychiatrist I was allergic to a specific medication, she prescribed it for me and gave it to me. When I realized I was having the same allergic symptoms as when I take that drug I hit the nurse call. For over an hour I waited for a nurse to show up, so I called the main hospital number. That got an enraged nurse Ratched into my room and when I said I was having an allergic reaction and asked if I had been given the wrong medication, she said I got the medication the doctor ordered and to shut up. She also then stole my GSM so I could not contact the hospital again to bother her. I got up to try and take my phone away and she shoved me to the ground. I have severe osteoarthritis in my lower spine and I was severely injured by the fall. My left leg was twisted behind me. She ordered me to get up and get back into bed. I said because of the osteoarthritis and the position of my left leg, I could not move. So she got a male nurse to help her throw me into the bed. I was told to shut up and go to sleep and offered no medical assistance for the allergic attack. I suffered until 6:30 in the morning when I finally fell asleep after most of the medication worked its way out of my system. They lied and said they offered me my morning medication at 8 AM. I was asleep no one talked to me. I was awakened maybe at 11 o’clock in the morning by the psychiatrist who said I was being discharged. I received no discharge papers, my GSM I had to ask for to get back and there was no logbook or chain of custody for an expensive piece of equipment, and my house key, which had been stolen by the police as well as the GSM from my home had been left just lying out on the side table of my bed. If I hadn’t seen it, I would’ve never of had it and couldn’t have gotten back into my house. That should’ve been in a safe place and logged in a logbook for return to the patient upon discharge. Instead, some cowardly nurse just left it out. Instead, anyone could could have stolen the key on my night table, but I was left to find it on my own. I was then patient dumped out a side door nowhere near the main entrance. I am currently going through a divorce so the only person I knew in Belgium was my soon to be ex-husband in desperation I called him. He works only 15 minutes away. He said he would come and I sent him two emails from Google maps of where I was. After an hour burning in the sun, I called him back. He simply laughed at me and said he had no intention of ever picking me up and I could find my own way home. So I called the taxi in that city, but I had no idea where I was. So I started walking with severe osteoarthritis. Finally a man in a black car with a taxi sticker on the side of his car asked to I had called for a taxi. Mind you I was in pajamas and slippers with nothing but a GSM in my hand. I said I had. He demanded payment upfront to take me the roughly 20 km home. Fortunately, I had a pay app on my phone and was able to pay the €70. He drove five minutes to the main entrance to guarantee that I was released and not escape and then he drove me home. Seriously stay the fuck away from this hospital. People die in the isolation cells and they use them frequently from what I’ve heard. It has a 2.5/5 rating on Google. Mostly one star reviews. Mainly complaining about the poor quality and poor treatment by the staff. Stay away if you want to stay alive and sane. I now have PTSD from this place. I went and stressed from a divorce and came out permanently damaged in 12 hours. These people are shit. I am currently following up with the appropriate government authorities to press formal charges against the psychiatrist and the hospital. Stay the fuck away from this place. It will kill you.
