not a great company, stay away with them

I had an experience with this broker, I would say their service is not that great in that they would help you get on board only so they can get paid. The communication with them is not that great in that you never be able to talk to the agent until you called them millions time. My experience is whenever you called them they simply transfer you to voice mail that was answer days later. If you send email to the agent who would respond back two or three days later or no response at all until you call them again. What inefficiency is they have only one agent to work on one's case based on geographic region or customer last name and so on. If you have issues you have to wait that person come back for whatever reason; otherwise, no one else would help. I had a combined auto and home insurance setup by this company with Pembridge Insurance. The setup process was ok, but I cancelled the policy because Pembridge increase my auto premium from 2000 to 7000 a year in 2023 due to one of my daughter obtained her G2 license. Anyway, the agent working with the broker then did helped me cancelled both auto and home insurance. However, lately when I received a collection letter from D&A group saying I owe money for Pembridge, I tried phone calls and emails to them to seek an explanation as Pembridge is not dealing with individual customer directly. The previous agent has left the company so I had to deal with different agent who seems not respond email or calls immediately. I also found out Pembridge overcharged me home policy for the month of June 2023 when the police was cancelled on June 30, 2023. I requested the agent to trace payment history as I don't think I should be billed for 2023 June as the advance payment in March 2023 covered. I never receive any response from her. Based on this experience, I would strongly not suggest to use broker like Laurie Insurance for any home or auto insurance. Just use the company who carries insurance directly to avoid middle man. If no issue it is ok you may get a better deal one time and later once you are hooked they won't care about customer's interest. They only do whatever they will get paid, as for anything else if not paid they just ignore you. Not like some insurance company, if you are unhappy you can talk to manager, but they seems don't really care about their customer and their reputation . So stay away from them!
