Steer clear of this firm. Dishonest, disappointing, and completely unprofessional. Quoted $1,500 for a simple divorce. Paid over $8,000. In return? McIlveen Family Law grossly overcharged me—padding invoices with vague, duplicative, and clerical entries disguised as legal work - it’s all part of the experience. They couldn’t even get the retirement plan name right on the QDRO. You’d think accuracy matters when splitting assets. Apparently not. Now I’m fixing their errors and footing the bill. Bar complaint filed. Small claims court? That’s next.
Save yourself the time, stress, and money—look elsewhere.
