My dog’s attended their day care *for years* and behaves friendly and always wants to play. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on day care and grooming. Today they told me they don’t like to accept herding dogs specifically because they’re overexcited and they don’t like the herding instincts. They said they rarely accept herding dogs. The daycare dogs are left unsupervised inside without any direction and as a result the dogs encourage each other’s worst instincts. The staff was rude and pretentious. My dog trainer also said “never take dogs to day cares because the places don’t actually direct the dogs and the staff waits until things get out of hand before intervening which encourages bad habits in the dogs.” He said dogs should only be in professionally supervised group plays. Barkaritaville is not a supervised group play. I definitely wouldn’t trust this business.
