Falsely sold as Edwardian and received badly damaged (did not happen in transit), no response to emails or messages
Purchased a ring off seller online for £950, there was no mention of damage and no damage visible on photos in the listing. Upon receiving the opal it was glaringly damaged/cracked rendering the ring worth less than half of what I paid for it, it was well protected in transit so I assume seller was aware of this and chose not to disclose. Further to that it was listed as an Edwardian ring and is actually date stamped London 1944. This is very concerning from a 'professional jewellers'. The seller has not replied to any of my emails or messages despite having been open and online having updated my dispatched date.
