Lengthy private phone conversations during the journey.
I am sick of having to travel in taxis where the driver spends the whole journey having a private telephone conversation. This happens almost every time I take a Hamilton taxi. One driver just kept his line open to another taxi driver. The other driver picked up a client and during her whole journey had a conversation with her. She would have had no idea her conversation, which revealed a lot of information about her, was being overheard by a passenger in another taxi. As soon as her journey was over, the conversation between the two taxi drivers resumed. These private conversations make me feel very uncomfortable. They are always conducted in a foreign language and make me feel the driver is not fully concentrating on his driving. It is very rude to say the least. Unless this practice stops I will not be using Hamilton Taxis in the future.
