I had a very disappointing experience with this home appraisal. The appraiser did not use any meaningful comparable properties (“comps”) from the area, which is a basic and essential part of determining a fair and accurate value. Instead, the report seemed outdated data that didn’t reflect the current local market at all.
There were several similar homes nearby that have sold recently and should have clearly been included, yet they were completely ignored. This resulted in an appraisal value that felt arbitrary and significantly off from reality. It raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and professionalism of the process.
An appraisal should be grounded in solid, relevant comparisons—not guesswork. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark entirely. I would not recommend this service to anyone who expects a fair and well-supported valuation.
