Avoid Tynan Mitsubishi Kirrawee – Brand New Car Damaged Repeatedly

I strongly advise anyone considering Tynan Mitsubishi Kirrawee to think twice. My experience with this dealership has been absolutely terrible and extremely frustrating from start to finish. I am now escalating this matter to NSW Fair Trading and the ACCC.
I purchased a brand new Mitsubishi Triton ute, expecting professional service, but instead faced repeated mishandling and damage caused directly by Tynan Motors staff.
Incorrect Installation of Roller Top: The roller top installed by Tynan scratched the tailgate.
Damage During Warranty Service: During service visits, my car suffered multiple scratches on the dashboard, damage to door speaker covers, and paint damage on the driver’s side door.
Incomplete Repairs: After two weeks in the service centre to fix prior damage, repairs were still incomplete, additional damage occurred, and the door speakers stopped working.
Repeated Damage: The car was returned to Tynan Motors again for repairs caused by Tynan themselves. After another two weeks, the repairs remain incomplete, scratches are still present on the dash, door, and roller shutter, and the roller shutter no longer opens correctly.
Warranty handling has been slow, unprofessional, and poorly managed, with staff unresponsive and no clear accountability. This marks the fourth time Tynan Mitsubishi has caused damage to my brand new vehicle.
The lack of quality control and proper care is shocking, especially for a dealership representing Mitsubishi Australia. When I contacted Mitsubishi Australia requesting that the car be repaired at a different Mitsubishi dealer, they refused to take responsibility for their authorised distributor’s incompetence.
If you care about your brand new Mitsubishi being treated properly and want a dealership that honors warranty commitments, avoid Tynan Mitsubishi Kirrawee and the Tynan Service Centre. This has been an ongoing nightmare, and I cannot recommend them under any circumstances. Honestly, I would not recommend buying a Mitsubishi at all given my experience and Mitisubishi Australias responce to their distributors incompetent actors.
