Awful Management Style
I should have seen the red flags from the beginning when applying here to the Windsor Aviara apartments. Prior to moving in, when I would call, there was hardly an answer, and when the management team would call, it would always be at the end of the day. Now as a current tenant, this has been the worst experience I have ever had. When something comes up, whether expecting a response via email or phone call, it takes days to get a response, and when a response is given, it’s always right before closing hours. I have been dealing with Lauren in management due to a smoking policy, the lack of communication and poor response time has made living here a terrible experience. 6 months of living here with a neighbor who smokes and vapes, despite repeated reports over 6 months, the issue continues. Even after video evidence of smoke being blown outside our patio and sending constant emails, the final solution was for us to terminate lease early. This was extremely unsettling and provided a poor customer service management from the resident manager and general manager Christine. When asking the general manager to help us relocate to another unit. The initial offer was to transfer us to other units available are at higher rental rates. As a tenant, I shouldn’t have to fight this hard for management to enforce their own policy for no smoking. 6 months of everyday smelling marijuana, and it still continues. What a joke. Not to mention having a leak in our roof and AC unit leaking, with not even a follow up or updates on what is the status of those work orders. I am fed up, in my experience we have not been able to fully enjoy our home due to the ongoing smoke and unresolved issues, it is devastating.
