A good mall with plenty of parking and easy access.
Great for clothes, personal exccessories and shoes.
Two supermarkets, movie theatre and a great variety of eateries.
Lacks the larger electronic, furniture type department stores.
But they do seem to be constantly developing the mall.
All wheelchair accessible with public toilets and new mothers facilities.

Visited this place after a long time but That is really a bad experience from genuine Customer. I think they got a great idea to fish it out some more revenue through parking tickets.GOOD ON YOU GUYS... We haven't notice parking time limit and presume that its same like other malls in CHCH p120.. if big mall like that having warehouse and coundown one side and nice food court and kids play area in other side. Definitely people will spend extra time. Even if people shop their Eastside of the mall then will take more then 60mins... time is between (Sunday 1st Sep) 9:30am-12pm..We (with kids)went there to shop at coundown but decided to go to kids play area fast and have B/F at food-court before shopping and at last endup doing shopping at Pak nSav and Jay Jay as well.. Once reached car , found $65 tickets . When I looked around the parking area , there was still more then 20 parking space vacant... What a shame... NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN.

They have certainly upped their game with the food court! Been a while since I've been to Northlands and the food court was a great surprise. It was well kept, laid out nicely and really tidy. The shops are all just the usual mall shops - good variety, plenty to choose from and pretty much something for everyone.

Has most things.

I live in Redwood and have shopped at Northlands for years. I parked and went to the warehouse spent $150.00 then onto Farmers and spent another $120.00, meet a friend unexpectedly and we decided to have lunch together, then I proceeded to get groceries at pak n save and spent another $320.0. I came at 11 am and left at 1.30pm. On arriving at my car I found a $65.00 parking ticket. I will not be shopping here again and have told so many people about this.

The mall is alright, same as other mall, very busy, take awhile to find car park. Absolutely not enjoying the new food court, way too busy, long queue, pricy, too crowded, made me anxious.

Our go to place for quick retail therapy. I love the general vibe of this place. Sometimes you have great offers in the stores. This place houses two of the biggest dept stores in the area - Countdown and Pak n save which is handy. Plus a good food court to eat at, great choices. Clean toilet facilities too. Ample parking unless its a sunny weekend!

Sick of coming back to the car after a movie and my car has been chalked. It's 4 hours for crying out loud how can I be chalked if I haven't been there that long!! Sort your parking out Northlands

Great in Winter for an indoor walk. The mall is like a covered street, about a kilometre long. The food court is a bit of a barn and soulless & feels cramped. Plenty of clothing shops in the mall.
