Nice place to waste your time good shops decent food choices and lots of car parking, can get bizzy on cold rainy days, security good and toilets are clean and ready to go, bus station out the front good access all round, tidy n clean place.

25 minute wait after being served to get cold food at McDonald's and not the 1st time. Shocking service from stressed rude staff obviously untrained. On reading the reviews I should have avoided them. Mall management need to kick McDonald's out of the mall. Note I was a McDonald's mystery shopper a while back and have never experienced such shocking performance

It's a shopping mall...and much like any other. It is tidy & clean. And all the usual suspects (shops). Parking is tough and exit to Papanui Rd can be an exercise in patience. Go there if you must...not by choice!

If you don't want to walk do not go large mall with all mainstream shops but large 2 foodcourts ,good for shopping

Everything including the kitchen sink, can be found at Northland's, and with the Warehouse there also, plus two leading Supermarkets, Pak'n'Save and Countdown, Farmers, all the technical shops, Northland's, everything under one roof, including car parking if required.

Lovely mall but have noticed quite a few shops have closed down. Great to have The Warehouse in the mall.

Huge selection of shops. Lots of parking, great food court with movie theatre and restaurants big and also some unique stores.

Used to visit Northlands Mall every week but now I am absolutely disgusted at the Mall Owners or Mall Management deciding to hire a parking warden. I saw the warden today chalking tyres and issuing tickets. I didn't see any signs anywhere warning of a $65 fine for over parking either. Do you want customers to frequent the mall or not? Seems like you don't. It takes longer than 90minutes to do a grocery shop, look in clothes shops, pop into the Warehouse etc and stop for lunch.
Today I had to rush through my big weekly grocery shop and left before I finished the other shopping I had wanted to do for fear of receiving a ticket. I certainly didn't have time for lunch today.
The poor shop owners are going to lose custom wheras the Owners of the Mall or Management are raking in the money from unsuspecting shoppers. Not even messages over the intercom warning customers to check the time they have been parked.
Also some of the cafes and food places let it down. Horrible service and high prices at the two Robert Harris shops and also the service at Esquires could be better. Both places frequently close the kitchen early before 2pm, sometimes as early as 1pm.
Get rid of the awful hard grey plastic seating. In fact could do with more seating for the elderly who struggle to walk and more disabled parking. I only ever manage to find a free disabled park about once a month when I take my mother out. Both sides of the closest lane to the mall should be for disabled parking. Seems to be more parent parking than disabled parking. Please sort this out. I'd give this Mall a no star rating if I could. It seems to get worse over time.

Big earthquake and NO mall management around to guide panicked customers to safety. Now police want the mall closed but management say no, even though all other malls are closed awaiting engineer inspections.

Lots of stores but it's quite an outdated mall apart from the new Langdons Quarter

Really good place! As long as it's not a school holiday it's often less busy than a lot of other malls, which is really good if you're after a calmer day away from troubles. It sports a really nice EB games which is the least crowded I've ever been to, it's also across the road from comics compulsion, and not far from Popstop.

I'm not a small fan but sometimes it's a necessity. Good parking options and generally not too crowded.

A good sized mall, warehouse, farmers, cinema complex, countdown supermarket and a collection of good stores and eaterys. I like coming here as it has everything I need when visiting Christchurch. And close to my accommodation. Sometimes a little noisy. Ample parking.
