Yachthafen Residenz Hohe Düne Review

I got to know the Yachhafenresidenz as part of a training course. Including overnight stay, lunch and an evening visit to the restaurant and the Kamminbar. The overall impression is really very good. The entire facility is visually beautiful and spacious. The service was consistently excellent. Starting with the reception to the catering during the training up to the restaurants and the bar. My room was nicely furnished, accurately cleaned and blessed with a beautiful view. Overall, fully to be recommended. In my opinion, the price called is fully justified by the performance.

The location and the whole environment was great. The front desk was always busy and even the room service was great. The nicest thing was the spa and the breakfast the next morning. Great view of the old stream and nice staff. No problem with the child as you can separate the area by curtains from a certain room size and let the evening fade away in peace

Better "poor" and healthy than rich and sick. Nevertheless, our trip there was amusing, because the rich types of wealth behind the huge glazing worked on us like wie in the zoo. We wonder what the extremely nice service personnel deserve, who serve, spoil and restore the Mr. and Mrs. Important from back to front ...

We booked a spa day ticket and spent the whole evening there. The ambience is nice. Sauna and pool are good. We chilled on the nice couch all the time.

Holy Bimbam: I did not expect such a great atmosphere. In addition to excellent service, the highest quality cuisine and despite the size almost family environment! Class!

The selection and location is good. The service and the quality of the food is a 5 star hotel not adequate. The rooms are large and in a maritime style. Something old school.

The YHR high dune is still pure wellness. In the pool area was moved to a 2nd level. There is now more space for beach chairs. Unfortunately, the sofas were removed from the cozy areas. This looks very uncomfortable with the beach chairs Some guests were apparently unable to behave, they were removed ....

A trip is definitely worth it, I can warmly recommend it.

Was only there for one night, but the cooking school at the day and the dinner in the evening was impeccable. Gladly again

There are just a few things that have to work in such a hotel. Little attention was paid to the cleanliness of the room during our stay. When we arrived there was a film on the floor and the remote control was very dusty and obviously not disinfected. The flower in the bathroom had disappeared after the first night, but the empty vase with the flower water was still there. Speaking of the bathroom: a permanently installed hair dryer and a make-up mirror without lighting are not very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly, but unfortunately it doesn't tear it out. We probably won't be back.

Very good resort with large marina, with crane, gas station. Electricity, water on the jetties.

We have always been happy to be guests of the Yachthafenresidenz, because there was never anything to complain about during our hotel stays. The facility is very beautiful and has been around for a long time, my partner and I dreamed of a wedding there.
When the planning for this had actually begun, the discussions were promising but sober. We got the first bad news when we wanted to clarify more details for the wedding on site for the first time. Suddenly we had to take a fixed quota of hotel rooms (50% of our guests) when signing the contract. Since we cannot tell our wedding guests where they want to stay, this was no small factor for further planning.
An information about this before starting the journey (over 300km) would have been courteous. We agreed that we would not sign until all invitations have been sent and we have an exact number of guests.
The so-called special conditions for the overnight stays of our guests were supposedly accommodating. Embarrassingly, our guests noticed in front of us that the rooms on the hotel's own (!) Internet platform were cheaper than our special conditions.
One day later, when booking the room, our guests were told on the phone that they can reserve the room, but that the bride and groom's signature was missing for the event. Telling our guests something about the status of our contract unsettles our guests and is extremely unprofessional.
The errors that occurred were admitted, but nothing was changed by the hotel. An adjustment of room prices, for example, was rejected by the management.
We then decided to take on the work and find a new location. Well-being naturally plays an important role for us on a day like this and unfortunately this was no longer possible.

Conclusion: Very nice hotel - unfortunately absolutely no recommendation can be made for planning an event!

We were only there for dinner so food was great just the portions were left to us.

Soothing climate not only by the Baltic Sea, in the house it is also very pleasant to be pampered.

Excellent hotel with great ambience. But what is even more important is that all the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Wellness area is highly recommended for relaxing, various saunas, swimming pools, relaxation rooms.
Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the marina. Many ways to eat well! At the Butt but you have to reserve in advance.

Robbenstation of the University of Rostock highly recommended, also for smaller children. Highly motivated scientists give interesting information and demonstrations.

Nice location. However, one should not get sick. Was tied to the bed. Staff partly overwhelmed, breakfast is only in the main house. Without the help of my colleagues I would not have known what I would have done.

The classification of the hotel in the category / star is largely justified. The location is excellent, the rooms are good and so is the service, no question about it.
What is not good is the breakfast. Jostling, empty displays, annoyed staff. One can understand. Dinner: Good, but also very, very expensive.
Dogs: Well, dear hotel, if we bring a tiny dog into your hotel in a super clean bag, which certainly neither makes anything dirty nor disturbs, then a fee is ok, but an unmentioned final cleaning fee of 60.00 is not ok .
All of this reinforces our impression that everything that works should be turned into money here. We already had an upscale room, well, next time we'll live somewhere else.
In general, one can say that all comparable hotels are friendlier and act more like a host, a shame.
