Woodys Drive In Review

Woody's is one of my favorite places to eat in the entire world. The food is amazing and the service and owners are even better. I am from San Diego and go out of my way to eat here when I'm in Utah. Make sure you get the zucchini fries.

Great place for a burger, fries, shake or even slushy. Service is fast and for is delicious.

Traditional hamburgers, shakes and carhop service. Pretty good service and tasty food.

it was good just make parking lots truck friendly to where I can get and not hit stuff and more outside sitting areas. other than that I'll give you guys a 5 star

Good prices compared to other burger joints. Food is good too. You have to try their plate burger. It's really as big as the plate.

Haven't been for years. We don't work that direction anymore. Decided to see if it was still there and it was! Our food was great and our caramel cashew Shake was delicious!

I Love the juke box and the older atmosphere. The food is good. We always have fun when we go listening to the music. The customer service is good. They are all kind and helpful.

This is the best Drive-In I've been to in Utah. They have a wide array of interesting burgers and chicken sandwiches and fries and even fried cucumbers.. shakes... and other typical sandwiches well executed. .. it's good conventional food that I can recommend

Good prices and great shakes. Service can be on the slow side so don't go if your in a hurry.

Onion rings are my favorite, raspberry shake is packed with flavor, buns on the burgers are so soft and that staff is sweet!
It's a small place, ran with just a few people, so have patience, food doesn't just fly through the window like McDonald's. It's an actual drive in.
Great burgers, I loved that my toppings weren't hot from the patty because the burger was assembled right before I received it. Yum!

All of the staff had masks, but the two preparing food were not wearing them well. One had it hanging off one ear, so not covering anything. Another had it halfway down their face so half their mouth and all of their nose wasn't covered. I was really disappointed in those choices.

We ordered a few treats, and ended up throwing them out.

Frozen strawberry lemonade had no lemon flavor.
Pumpkin cookie shake had what looked like regular frozen cookie dough. I'm fairly confident they used the frozen cookie dough from Costco, since one of them was whole on top. Because of that I was worried about raw eggs. The cookie dough texture was not good in a shake. Usually cookie dough in shakes is more dense and holds together, but this cookie dough was starting to thaw and got all mushy and soggy.

The one positive is that the fries were delicious.

Great french fries and of course Fry Sauce - burgers are tasty (I had the bacon bleu, right ratio of bun : meat). Loved sitting outside in the crisp fall weather, I'm sure inside is great post-pandemic. Drive up car service which is cool, very good shakes

Not super impressed, I was ignored when I came in. It was 8 pm there were no other customers but the staff goofing off in the kitchen. Won't be going out of my way to come back that's for certain

Most of the time good hot food. This time took to go and it was cold. Asked for ketchup and got get sauce. Just double check your order.

this is a great local favorite. Great food when the right cook is working. They seem to hire high school & younger kids so the service varies. I once waited 25 minutes for an order of fries with no apology & there weren't other customers. So its very hit & miss

The food is usually great! It's the service here that sucks! When I asked for fries they told me they didn't have any. But when I asked for Curly Fries, they had them. Why couldn't the girl taking my order, just tell me all they had were curly fries? Of course when I get them home they were overcooked and hard as a rock. I love the atmosphere here. It all really boils down to the service. They have a bunch of teenagers running the joint. Stupid for business of you ask me. I've had many other issues with my food here. Such as the hamburger not being cooked all the way through

They are the quintessence of a great American car hop hamburger joint. Their super deluxe double cheeseburgers, patty melts and French fries are absolutely delicious. The Ranch sauce is delectable. The fry sauce is among the best ever had. The servers are almost always prompt and pleasant. They are a bit privey but worth it.
Been coming here for over a decade. Used to come here on my school lunch break for fries, a shake and a soda. When finally tried a burger five years ago realized had been missing out. Come here you will not regret it.

Old fashion hamburger joint. Lime rickeys, fried pickles and great shakes. What more could you want!

I d love to give 5 stars because the burgers were great but the fries were awful. They tasted old, like the ones that have been sitting there for a while.

Good old fashioned drive in. Eat inside or in your car. Jukebox inside. Best of all they serve ironport soda!

Great. I love their Patty melt, it's the best in the valley.

I got the $4.50 lunch combo. Just a basic burger, fries and a drink. It's not the right meal if your starving but it'll cure the hunger pains and be kind to your wallet. I'll be going back to test the rest of the menu.

This hamburger joint has been around for a long time, but I was only recently introduced to it. I must say that I have loved it! I'm a big fan of the retro diner feel with hamburgers, fries, and shakes. They have lime rickeys and Coke products, along with apple beer and Ironport. They even have fry sauce dispensers. Definitely try the ice cream after your meal. If you enjoy listening to the oldies, they have a free jukebox in the corner. I've never eaten outside - I've always gone inside. They have lots of parking and you can even order outside (carside or shakes at the window).

Fun burger joint! It reminds me of burgers with my grandpa.

This place is like a 50s drive-in. They serve a hamburger and shakes type menu and the sizes are huge. The dining space is cozy. We love coming here.

Omg yum!! I've never been here and after eating here today, i don't know how I've never stopped in. Best food ever! And it's so fresh. The woody burger with pastrami is amazing!! This is definitely my new fave spot!!

It's your typical, non chain burger joint. Good food and shakes with a good environment that my family enjoys. The jukebox has plenty of oldies to choose from and it's free. Try the fried pickles.

This restaurant is clearly the result of people who listen to customer feedback. They've got all the little quirks and charms you could expect of a low-key old fashioned burger joint. A great place to take your friends for lunch.

Really good burgers, shakes and fries. Gryos are excellent as well. I recommend the curly fries over the home made ones, especially if you add cheese on them. They add real cheese to the cheese fries as well, not crappy nacho cheese.

No flavor in the burgers. No flavor in the fries. No flavor in the sprites. And the smoothie tasted as a bunch of sugar and ice.

The burgers and sides are delicious plus the prices are fantastic. This place is a new favorite of mine.

We ordered the fried mushrooms, pickels, onion rings, the bleu cheese burger, and the garlic burger. It was all delicious. The prices are great for the portions and the atmosphere is perfect. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a burger joint.

We went in for a shake. Simple and easy, right? They had one girl doing all the work while a young boy who couldn't count to ten ran the register. I personally witnessed him get the change wrong on three orders. After standing at the counter for 20 minutes and watching everyone else get food, I asked what would it take to make a single shake? They discussed it for about ten minutes at which point the boy decides to make it. WITHOUT washing his hands, he launches into action, demonstrating he clearly knew how to make them. He finishes the shake, turns and slams the cup onto the counter and splashes raspberry shake all over my date. I've seen a lot of poor service but this one takes the cake!
The restaurant was filthy, the service was abysmal and the food sucks!! I will never go back there again. Save yourself from an experience like mine. Steer clear of this one.

Overpriced and greasy. Low quality burgers. Shakes are good but the burgers and fries are not near the quality they were years ago.

I always enjoy eating there; the fry sauce with onion rings and ironport is tasty along with halibut. Enjoy the atmosphere!!

The place is kinda of a dive but they have some of the best hamburgers in town.
The bldg can use some upgrades but hey if you have not been here I think you should.
Food (patty meat) is cooked to the order
Fries are real potatoes and they taste really good
Milk shakes are just as god as Icebergs, leatherbys or places like that
Really inexpensive... THUMBS UP on this one.

I live pretty close by. The best item they serve are the hot fudge sundaes with nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry!

This place is awesome!! Great everything including staff. Always consistent with their food and service. Highly recommend this place if you want a burger and fries!

The service here was great. Our cashier was very patient and helpful as four kids figured out what they wanted and changed and added and subtracted. She was also very friendly and made us feel welcome even though we brought a little chaos in our wake.
The atmosphere is fun with cute decor and we enjoyed the juke box.
The food was good (though not incredible enough to quite make it to 5 stars) and was made according to order (this was somewhat impressive because one of the hamburgers had a long list of specific requests).
The restroom had a nice smell with nice soap and was decently clean.

One of the few remaining mom & pop drive-in burger joints in slc. The woody burger add bacon is superb.

I eat at woodys alot and its usually very good but today 8-1-16 my burger was greasey runny and soggy i threw it away and my shake wasn't ready until 12 minutes after i got my burger

Great place for fresh cooked burgers and fries. Retro feel. Been there for years and still kicking!
