Beautiful location to visit with small children and take them into a wonderful world. Generally a fairly quiet location. The bird show is also very interesting for the little ones. In addition to all the animals to admire, there is plenty to experience. And otherwise there can always be played or explored in the caves.

Really lovingly designed, the twins and trolls are well done.
What disturbed me more and more were the stuffed animals in the front part. In the back the living ones. In my opinion, very small cages for the numerous monkeys, cats ect ..... Worst I found the enclosure for the big birds of prey. Owls and uhu, who are disturbed for the whole day at their "night's sleep" and in the narrow enclosures do not even have the chance to fly more than a wing stroke ... Also the eagles .... For me it was very fast unbearable .... Therefore only one *

Pretty nice small park with animals for small children. Although it remains difficult to see very large birds, such as the bald eagle, in a relatively small cage deels. Also good educational.

A nice little Zoo. Very suitable for children from 4 to 12 years old.

Informative and fun I decorated, a few beautiful birds sit in a nicely decorated place.

Good place to take young children but it is very depressing for grown ups to have to look at the owls and other birds of prey in their small enclosures

It was smaller than expected and in the tropical greenhouse a funky air was not always happy.
The forest cafe was closed.
The monkeys and birds are beautiful and impressive.
It was absolutely not busy what we find a plus. Price quality ratio is sufficient. Very suitable for young children who are not stuck in a buggy

Nice for young children, but not for adolescents. It is also fun for parents. Nice animals. The playground can be tackled a bit more.

Very nice and modest animal park. Neat, polite staff, great entrance fee. Recommended for families with children of primary school age.

Not 100 points, but fun set up for children and nature lovers. A half day is enough and not too expensive.

Disappointing experience. Bad odors. Many monkeys, owl and eagles in rather small cages which is difficult to explain to small children. Many dead flies (bad hygiene) and all indoor areas smell really bad. Set-up in the caves is also frightening for the small ones. Lots of brown/grey colours gives visitors uncomfortable feeling. I would not recommend this place as visiting (and paying entry fee) supports animals being caged. An eagle, symbol of freedom/liberty, should not be caged!

Nice little animal park with fairy tale decoration.
You can touch animals and skins, feel and guess objects, walk through the troll cave, play among the prairie dogs and look at the owls and via the jungle with loose animals back to the store.
Very nice with young children but also with slightly older ones. Spending an afternoon for us (~ 3 hours) but definitely worth it!

very nice price / quality ratio, our children aged 8,12 and 14 played and discovered delicious, highly recommended for an afternoon away with a cheap menu

Very worthwhile, but could use a makeover. It would be nice if the municipality of Westerwolde started to spread subsidies, because Wonderwereld has everything to become / remain a beautiful attraction! But really worth a visit.

Poor operation (has no insight into appealing to customers)

Great for a few hours of fun! We spent about two and a half hours with our boys of 5 and 7 years old. If it hadn't rained, they would have been sweet in the playground while we had a drink on the terrace, unfortunately not the case now ..

Not very big but perfect for families with small children. Count on 2 to 3 hours. Very nicely decorated, quiet and nice corridors / holes for children everywhere. Highly recommended and well worth the entrance price!

Great to be here with my grandson of 3. We were looking forward!

I'm sorry for the animals here. The owl and the eagle have nothing to laugh about ...

Very nice park for young children (maybe childish for teenagers, is personal). Very friendly staff. Located in a forest, which fits perfectly with a fairy tale world. Nice appearance of both inside and outside. Is a cozy cafe (restaurant?) In an (adult) fairy-tale theme. It is much larger on the inside than it looks on the outside.

We have a great time there. Neat and tidy, the animals look well cared for.Nice outing with the kids

Nice combination, animals and fairy tales. Our children 7 and 8 years have great fun.

The playground is nice and fun to run around. Quite outdated. The stuffed animals are a bit strange for adults but great fun for children because they are allowed to touch them. I have nothing to do with the troll collection; that was a simple version of Dream Flight.
Really out of date is how animals are kept here. A sad bald eagle in an aviary, owls in small cages and monkeys in a greenhouse. They better focus on a nice playground.

I really enjoyed it for my 5 year old son to see and do many different things.

Great park for a day out with the children. Nice mix of educational things, animals and games. Too bad the second cafe at the playground was not open, that is really a missed opportunity. With your coffee through the jungle and the caves to get out of a picnic bench is not really a success. The bird show is quite small with three owls, but it is entertaining. As far as we are concerned no park to go several times a year, but nice for a day.

What a nice zoo and fairy tale world. What a nice idea to combine the animal world with fairy tales / fantasy. Highly recommended, especially for families with children up to the age of 12. But also for older children who love animals, this is a great park. And also very affordable.

A prison sentence of animals and especially birds for the amusement of the people. Sad.

We loved it. It's been a few months, but it remains in my memory. If we are close again, we will definitely come back.

If you love life you love Ter Apel.
Some things (shops) you sometimes miss when you come from the city like us but you get so much in return.
The wonderful extensive forests, the beautiful nature, animals such as deer, birds of prey, squirrels ect. ect.
The seasons are all fantastic experiences.
It is delicious here!

Simply gorgeous! Small but nice! A lot for the children to discover and even with temperatures of 33 degrees they can be endured thanks to the shade ..... but it was not our second visit and our last !!

We thought it was a nice start, but then you come out and you think this is all? If you come with a large family then we personally think it is expensive for what you get. Playground suggested nothing for everything expired a little extinct. We thought it was a waste of our money after half an hour we were already outside again

nice place ... only staff of the catering industry is far below level

We went with our girls last May. They had a great time ... despite the rain. Because they were allowed to touch so much, it became a real experience. Later it became dry and they played outside. A wonderfully arranged, not too large park where fantasy, experience and admiration certainly apply.
