Two weeks ago we attended the Affordable Art Fair HK at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and enjoyed a couple hours, viewing art works for sale this past weekend. Artwork were priced from HK$100,000 and below.

Entrance fee on the day was HK$165 per person. As with past exhibitions attended at HKCEC, there are early bird discounts for advanced online ticket purchase by way of UrbTix and Hong Kong Ticketing websites.

This year the Affordable Art Fair was pretty good, like it has been the past several years. There was nice range international artists and art galleries from the US, UK, Australia, Japan, Korea and here in Hong Kong showcasing a wide variety of mostly contemporary artworks.

We find the gallery reps and artists are quite eager to talk about the pieces at this particular fair. This can be enjoyable if you want to know more about the artists and the works. It is a low (no) pressure environment, if anything the scene if more engaging than intimidating for potential buyers and just fun for browsers.

It was a good fair again this year, something fun to do for those who enjoy viewing art. Watch this this event again next May if you are interested in art and visiting at that time.

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre connects the MTR Wan Chai Station and Wan Chai Ferry Pier with a large area. It is mainly for exhibitions and corporate banquets or conferences!

Everything everywhere was all clean, resyrooms were clean, and people who work there were mostly friendly.

It is one of the landmarks of Hong Kong, but due to the construction project, the traffic around is messy, it is recommended not to drive by yourself.

Every year the pet exhibition and food exhibition will go to the place, the environment is very large, but the time is too short for the crowds, there is no place to rest after shopping, and the snack shop is not enough.

Grand hall is the ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Hong Kong International Exhibition Centre. I often shoot at that venue.

This year's book fair, I entered the venue as a customer three times, and the conference is well arranged. One of the elements of success is the original design and setting of the venue. The pavilion is large and can focus on the theme.

Internationally well-known conference and exhibition venues with convenient transportation. The nearby Golden Bauhinia Square is a must-visit destination for mainland tourists. It is close to hotels and various restaurants, terminals and bus terminals.

Architecturally very nice building. Inside, everything neat and clean. Generally, the building is a colossus. From the island of Kowloon, you can take a promenade for 2-3 HKD (!!!) along the way, admiring the great views.
