Decent selection of popular English books with a scattering of American books thrown in. You can also buy Marmite and marmelade and other British food. The store is nicely laid out and never too crowded. Other random things as well like children's toys and puzzles and calendars. A large store considering its in Brussels.

The best selection of English language books in Br...

The best selection of English language books in Brussels. Nice atmosphere, and easy to navigate. They can also special order books that are not in stock. Unfortunately, in the age of online book purchasing, it s hard for a store like this to compete on price. Expect to pay at least 20- 25 for a paperback.

A smaller version than the Waterstones in Oxford, but still the best English-language bookstore! There is a wide choice of books, and you can also order extra if desired. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere where you always discover something new!

A nice and cosy book store, similar in the way as they are in the Great Land that is the United Kingdom. What would be nice additives, which I have seen there but not quite here are:

* more small book summaries /opinions especially on the lesser known books and not just those that are known to everyone already

*a nice little bar somewhere as I am used to Waterstones having

*a little more cosiness in the chairs upstairs. For me personally, it's also a bit too.. Open.. For a bookstore. I prefer books all around me, nooks and crannies. But still a 4/5!

Simply a pearl, the employees are super sympathetic and help you spontaneously. I wanted to order a book, they were traced so that I could order it immediately. My surprise was that it was a lot cheaper than in another bookstore.

If you love books, go there! I love this bookshop. Explore the ground floor. They have a really nice poetry and fantasy section, books that are food for the heart & soul. Let the beautiful staircase swoop you off your feet to the next book level, with fun psychology books and other books that are food for the brain, food for foodlovers and food for the wanderers. Books for every English reading soul. And as a bonus, you have really friendly staff, always happy to help. Go find your treasure.

The regular Christmas visit to Waterstones to pick...

The regular Christmas visit to Waterstones to pick up a few books by virtue of having touched them rather than staring at an image on Amazon is an annual tradition to be looked forward to. Tge staff are always passionate about books and there ard often good offers on multiple purchases. Way to get into the Christmas spirit.

I rang just before closing time to ask if they had two books in stock, which they did. They were very patient and polite - yes I could pay cash or by card and yes they would reserve them for me.
Picked the books up the next day. Again they were very polite and helpful - ultra-hygienic (masks, hand sanitizer, marks on floor and plastic shielded checkout) and I could take my small bike inside.
