This place is awesome and huge. They also host one of the best Anime Conventions, but as far are convention centers themselves go this is a wonderful one. It is always clean and well prepared. The center staff are always helpful and polite in helping manage large crowds of rather crazy and diverse people. The layout is great and it is easy to get around and the sound dampening between rooms is rather impressive. Overall it is one of the best convention centers I have visited.

Attended part of the 2017 AMS conference here late January. The facilities are very nice, with good catering services available. It additionally has nice, but limited seating throughout the center. One drawback is that it is somewhat difficult to maneuver around and amplifies just how big it is.

Went here for PAX, and though it's clear that the EXPO has outgrown the WSCC, it was still a building that had multiple ways of getting around to everywhere, and the staff was knowledgeable about where everything around the building was.

Big disappointment from a big building. 3 floors of conference events, 1 solitary women's restroom on the first floor (no events other than a Subway and Starbucks on this level). It was explained that the restroom stalls literally looked like my barn stalls because of the homeless in the area, feel torn about that.

If there was a reverse map from 3 stars to places that are 3 stars, I feel that the Washington State Convention Center would appear near the top. Where can you get off the bus to find an inside Taco del Mar, a FedEx store, see a CRT monitor in use, have the option of using public yet downright frightening bathrooms, and notice homeless people sitting on a bench with a rat trap beneath it? But wait, many awesome conventions occur here, including giant corporations and comic conventions. Also, it is a climate controlled fanfare of life when arriving by bus, feel the cool ac on hot days, and the dry and warm indoors on wet days. There is a neat, patient and enduring crepe stand right outside, next to a Subway. Welcome to the Washington State Convention Center. It hits 3 stars so hard because it measures as a superposition of 2 and 4.

I've been here every year for PAX for the last 6 years. The layout is strange for a convention center but there are secret passage ways to get everywhere. The food in the exposition halls itself (not the lobby) are actually reasonably priced and saved me from having to walk outside and a few blocks to find more expensive and probably worse food at a food court or something.

5 star all the way! The staff here are all very professional on ll levels. I can see why most stay a few years. Event the retired part time employees cant say enough good things about working at the Washington State Convention Center.
I hope my company Old Style Shoe Shine Co does many more events here.

Great place for a conference! Beautiful, modern six-level facility with everything from coffee shops, to restaurants, to mini marts, to take care of your needs. Conference rooms were comfortable with good audio/video systems. I look forward to my next conference here.
