Massive. And expanding. Loved seeing PAX there a few years back. Worth a visit even with no events going.
Here for ECC 2018. It was clean, well laid out and spacious! Lots of food on site. Unisex and gendered bathrooms. Plenty of seating to rest during a busy day.
Great staff and location but the different loading docks need to be better labeled
This place is awesome and huge. They also host one of the best Anime Conventions, but as far are convention centers themselves go this is a wonderful one. It is always clean and well prepared. The center staff are always helpful and polite in helping manage large crowds of rather crazy and diverse people. The layout is great and it is easy to get around and the sound dampening between rooms is rather impressive. Overall it is one of the best convention centers I have visited.
Great place to wander and explore and of course to convention at. Highly recomended.
Attended part of the 2017 AMS conference here late January. The facilities are very nice, with good catering services available. It additionally has nice, but limited seating throughout the center. One drawback is that it is somewhat difficult to maneuver around and amplifies just how big it is.
Amazing facility, currently expanding to twice its current size.
Did not go inside but loved the design of the building
Friendly staff, clean and smelled good. Spacious and bright
Clean and beautiful place but finding a way into the parking structure after hours is a mess
This place is huge! I go here for every Comiccon or conventions like that. It is really well designed.
Went here for PAX, and though it's clear that the EXPO has outgrown the WSCC, it was still a building that had multiple ways of getting around to everywhere, and the staff was knowledgeable about where everything around the building was.
Enjoy a laid-back breakfast and unexpectedly found the flag flying
The Convention Center was as expected and PAX was also. Not exactly my cup of tea, but now I have experienced it.
Busy and convenient with restaurants and restrooms. Nice park area good for walks
I attended the Northwest Garden Show and it was amazing!! Had a great time and learned a lot. I even had the opportunity to meet Cisco Morris!!
Big disappointment from a big building. 3 floors of conference events, 1 solitary women's restroom on the first floor (no events other than a Subway and Starbucks on this level). It was explained that the restroom stalls literally looked like my barn stalls because of the homeless in the area, feel torn about that.
Plenty of subways and cafe inside and out if you need a break.
Nice facilities, well managed. I really enjoyed the conference that I attended here.
Very nice place meetings, exhibitions and congresses!
Went here for Emerald City Comic Com 2018 (ECCC). Can't complain! :D
If there was a reverse map from 3 stars to places that are 3 stars, I feel that the Washington State Convention Center would appear near the top. Where can you get off the bus to find an inside Taco del Mar, a FedEx store, see a CRT monitor in use, have the option of using public yet downright frightening bathrooms, and notice homeless people sitting on a bench with a rat trap beneath it? But wait, many awesome conventions occur here, including giant corporations and comic conventions. Also, it is a climate controlled fanfare of life when arriving by bus, feel the cool ac on hot days, and the dry and warm indoors on wet days. There is a neat, patient and enduring crepe stand right outside, next to a Subway. Welcome to the Washington State Convention Center. It hits 3 stars so hard because it measures as a superposition of 2 and 4.
Came here for Sakura-Con, love it, it's a nice looking place and really close to a parking garage so a huge plus.
Great place for conferences. Easy to find everything
If you have a chance to attend Taste Washington...do!
Nice place to take a break while in downtown Seattle.
See Emerald City Comicon each year. The building is really set out well for it.
It is really big. be sure you give yourself time to get your bearing and navigate a convention. Easy to get turned around.
The facility is normal, most of the 'ratings' for the building are based on the events and how well people in charge manage the events.
Comicon was good. Convention center was packed and still everything flowed well.
I've been here every year for PAX for the last 6 years. The layout is strange for a convention center but there are secret passage ways to get everywhere. The food in the exposition halls itself (not the lobby) are actually reasonably priced and saved me from having to walk outside and a few blocks to find more expensive and probably worse food at a food court or something.
2018 ECCC was great. Want to thank the nice lady that brought us down the service elevator, she was a life saver. Also to the security guard that made 2 lines on Sunday exit time.
I've been here several time for different events...ALWAYS had a great time.
Great place for convention with big auditoriums and excellent staff. Conveniently located in downtown Seattle.
I park my car close to here and walk thru the building every once in a while. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable to be in.
I have attended Microsoft Ready event. Infra is ready to host Company Meetings and accessibility is super easy
5 star all the way! The staff here are all very professional on ll levels. I can see why most stay a few years. Event the retired part time employees cant say enough good things about working at the Washington State Convention Center.
I hope my company Old Style Shoe Shine Co does many more events here.
Was walking around looking for Unown pokemon saw a lot of activity for the PAX convention
It's a nice place to just explore. The events/ conventions are what really bring it to life
Great place for a conference! Beautiful, modern six-level facility with everything from coffee shops, to restaurants, to mini marts, to take care of your needs. Conference rooms were comfortable with good audio/video systems. I look forward to my next conference here.
