I studied at Warwick a while back and have visited other campuses and have friends who studied at other universities. And so this is a fairly balanced and objective opinion. Warwick by far gives one the most holistic and enriching experience of uni life. It is such a vibrant place, the campus is beautiful, always has activities on, students union is great, gym is awesome, the lakes and the ducks, a great theatre, campus accommodation, library, modern laboratories.. need I go on? If I had to do uni again I'd definitely go to Warwick for a 3-year course!

The traffic system here seems to have been designed by half wits. Have been waiting for half an hour because somebody decided to close the main route out at rush hour, apparently in order to reduce speeds from 24mph which is apparently too fast.

I have to say, Warwick exceeded my expectations in all respect. It is a fantastic unviersity with some great people. In terms of academics, I studied law here and I have had an unbelivably enjoyable experience. Whilst the workload was heavy (as expected), there was always friednly lectureres wiling to help, be it through e-mail or after a lecture. All in all, I would strongly recommend this great university.

You've only got to look at some of the "famous" alumni to see what this place is like - Jennie Bond, Timmy Mallett, Sting. Everything about the place is fake. Even the name is fake - it's miles away from Warwick. It's actually in Coventry, which is a total hell-hole. Don't believe the propaganda either. Just one example - when it lists the support staff it says such things as there are three mental health advisors - true, but they are half time so only 1.5 FTE. When I think that so many Chinese students pay a fortune to go there I wonder why? Nottingham University, at least as good as Warwick, has branches in China, Save yourselves some money my Chinese friends.

Great time at this university! Would recommend it to anyone. As an international student it is great, you learn a lot, and you meet a lot of different people! Don't think twice about going if you've got an offer!

My laptop was stolen in the main library just 2 ho...

My laptop was stolen in the main library just 2 hours ago, and the security staff said that this is the second laptop being stolen in the library in this week.
I do not know why this will happen, shouldn t the university be a friendly and safe place? Every year, students spend so much money for the tuition fee, and you these guys only care about how to build new theaters, rather than improve the security system! Do you really think it s enough to keep the uni a safe place only by making safety posters and
broadcasting How naive you are!
I am also very surprised that there is no CCTV in such large library! Don t tell me you can t install them. For the past two years, I studied in University of Bristol, and they have CCTV that covers almost every corner in the library. The tuition fee here is not cheaper than there, so why can t you do that? And seriously, do you care who will be the next victim?
I am really frustrated and angry about that! Not just because the loose of money, but also because the loose of important files and time! Now, I am almost done without my lecture notes and essays!
I want the president of Warwick uni to see this. And I will not amend this comment unless I get my laptop back or I see the CCTV in library in the future!

What happened to teaching law students about ethics and honesty, class of '95? I think Nick probably partied too much at university and didn't study enough to value the truth and understand that lawyers are expected to be honest by the public; someone taught her that's it's okay to mislead the public about health professionals.
