Amazing and wonderful experience! We spent an afternoon there with our 2 year old and are still talking about it. The animals are obviously happy and well loved, and the talks were informative and fun. Thanks for a lovely afternoon Walkabout!

Beautiful place, beautiful animals and beautiful people working with them! This is my favourite place in NSW and I will be bringing all my overseas guests here to learn about, and enjoy Australian nature - and to pet the soft kangaroo's bum! Also, thank you to the staff for huge help with getting back to the city after closing hours!

Full respect for people who fight for the welfare of animals and provide them with great conditions and save them. The Park itself does not knock you down.
You can visit and support the work of people who save animals.

I love the culture and educational experience I had here. This is not a zoo but more of an interactive rescue about the native wildlife. It incorporates the land, history, and people into a wonderful experience. I love the work Tassan and her crew have put into this experience. Please visit.

Phenomenal Staff. We hired a private ranger and towards the end of the tour, the rangers helped me orchestrate an ideal scenario to propose to the girlfriend. Even better, she said yes :-D We are eternally grateful and very impressed at the goodwill flowing from the staff. A lifetime memory. All excitement aside the park is amazing, authentic and natural, recommend for any lazy day and helps support care of these beautiful animals.

We absolutely loved this place. From the moment we came in we were in the middle of Kangaroos and Emus freely walking around and - following the right instructions - easy to approach and pet. Highly recommended. We were there on the Saturday before Easter and it was very quiet and relaxed.

Great place to hang out with kangaroos and wallabies! But because you re not allowed to feed them, they seem don t seem to be very friendly towards humans. so once you get close to them, some might quickly move off. Not many other animals to see, just a great place to take photos with the kangaroos and wallabies cause it s not too crowded.

Great place to see a lot of unique animals. We learned a lot from the staff. We were able to touch Kangaroos, Koalas, Emos and more. Also was glad to learn that the majority of the animals are rescues. This isn't a zoo but more of a sanctuary. Very Cool. Very Chill.

It's a decent place to go with small children but I wouldn't recommend going in summer. We didn't get to see many of the animals as they were all hiding to escape the sun. After a couple of hours I had two cranky children who had seen emus and fed alpacas and done a lot of walking without much reward. Will return outside of the summer months to try our luck again.

Nice spot to bring the kids. Near $100 for entry and and an Icecream for a family of 5 which seems a bit steep for what's on offer but with alot of these places shutting shop I guess they need to do it to survive.

Tgis is a fantastic animal sanctuary. There are many Australian native animals here, some in very appropriate enclosures, others (like pademelons, kangaroos, wallabies, emus, etc.) roam free through the beautiful bushland setting.
There are no concrete paths, it's well made tracks through the bush. The staff are well informed and give talks about the animals throughout the day.
There's also a great hour long bush walk, and some Aboriginal sites and rock carvings as well.
Highly recommended to visit!

Loved the place! Native Australian wildlife, lovingly cared for and very well exposed at the same time. Affordable and not crowded at all - even on school holidays. We got this family vibe from the staff. Perfect place to spend half a day to a day with your kids.

Great place to see Australian wildlife! There are plenty of ranger talks throughout the day to learn about the different animals, see them up close and even pet some of them! The Rangers are very friendly and knowledgable. Many of the animals (kangaroos, wallabies, emus and turkeys) roam free and don't mind if you give them a gentle pet

I love the whole concept of really letting the wild animals to be wild - means no hand-feeding. That is very respectful to the animals. I think they take care of the animal brilliantly. One of the more unique wildlife conservations. Lots of talks, although would love if they can squeeze in a few more, because not everyone would have all day to spend in the park.

Stayed in a cottage and it was lovely. Staff (manager) is amazingly helpful and accommodating. We were allowed late checkout without asking as there is no other people checking into our room. Staff are very knowledgeable. Plenty of animals. Babies (1.5 years) loved it here!

This place is quite lovely. A lot quieter than the reptile park. The free range animals are really amazing just walking around the park with you. We fed the goats and lamas, the lamas will steal all of your food. We also were able to pet the dingos! Will definitely be planning another trip here!

Great place to take the family. Reasonably priced. Decent food options available. Lots of Australian wildlife to see - kangaroos, koalas, dingoes, wombats, echidnas, snakes and more. Never too crowded. Easy to get to and no problems finding a parking space. Friendly staff. Would avoid on a rainy day.

On Saturday 5th March, me and my mum were driving to Newcastle and i had to stop to go to the bathroom and we drove around for a very long time looking for a bathroom. We decided to stop at the wildlife park as a last result. I do understand that they do not let anyone off the street use their facilities but i am pregnant and desperately needed to go and the lady at the front counter was so completely rude to me and my mum and would not let me use it. So she made me pay the entry fee of $25 to use the bathroom which i paid and did not argue. My mum then asked if the ticket could be given to the next person that came through to which she abruptly responded NO. Even when we left we said thank you and she didn't even acknowledge us. We did not argue with her and we paid but we were just treated disgustingly.

I went here with a few friends and was shown around the place by very kind and friendly people. The animals were all incredibly cute and are well looked after. Not only that but we got to pet all animals except for the flying fox (for safety reasons). I absoluely love yhis place and I wish to come here again in the near future.
