Victoria Theatre Association Review

The show was really good i had never seen Dcdc before i loved it.

I can't recall ever having a bad experience at the Vicroria I have seen several shows over the last few year and have not been disappointed. Tonight was A Christmas Story..it was Perfect.

A very special place for the Dayton community. Wonderful performance space.

I usually go and see the old classic movies over the summer but I came this night to see the ballet in October. Older theater but has a lot of great history behind it.

The theatre, performance,staff, and atmosphere is great. However there were some serious sound issues and others have told me the same. The sound quality is fuzzy and sometimes the mics flat out break up or stop working.

Classic little theater. Had a great time everytime I've been. The only downside was the the chairs are a little close and could be a little more comfortable. Other than that can't wait to go back.

I attended a Ted Talk there a few months ago. The facility is perfect for that event (even if it is not what it was originally made for). Parking however, is difficult when you would rather not pay for it.

Love going here. Parking nearby, restaurants close! Just wish they had more bathrooms

The best theater in Dayton! Always friendly staff and great shows. The seating seems intimate and enhances the experience. I love the mix of formal and informal shows (especially the Cool Films series) that make the theatre accessible to a wide audience.

Always a wonderful place to experience a performance!

Excellent plays, Broadway's, Opera, ballet, and live music.

The Schuster Center and Victoria theater rival anything that Chicago or New York offer. The Broadway series are professional productions with top broadway talent.

Just wish those seats were not only made for size 1-9

This place has to do something about the seating! We sat through a 2+ hour concert last night, with no legroom whatsoever. (I'm only 5' 9" tall, not a giant). Seating (at least in the balcony where we were) makes economy-class airline seats seem spacious by comparison. I don't think I would ever attend anything at the Victoria again because of the cramped seating. It's simply unacceptably cramped for 21st century people who are taller than people were in 1866. This really detracted from the enjoyment of the performance.

This is without a doubt one of the most incredible venues to see a band anywhere. There are no bad seats for viewing and the sound is amazing. If you pay attention you can get offers for Cheap Seats. $10 seats is a great deal.

Always enjoy being in this theater. The interior is beautiful. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a variety of great performances. It's an outstanding local historical property. Everyone should experience attending an event at the Victoria.

A must see in downtown Dayton. They don't make them like this anymore!

Bring cash if you want something to drink. They charged me twice for 1 drink and the people get frustrated when you pay by card. The elderly people working are super nice and helpful but lack some training in the use of things connected to wires. Beautiful building and rich history

Professional performances, interesting repertory, not a bad seat in the house.

Nice theater. Even from the back you are not too far from the action. it is an extremely intimate experience with the actors on the stage.

This theater looks gorgeous and sounds amazing. Much smaller than the one across the street but the history is visible in the walls

Excellent dancing. The night was broken into 20 minute segments. There was a little something for everyone.

Beautiful venue and great acoustics. I m so glad the VTA saved this historical building from being leveled. The pics are from the Kansas concert.

The Kansas concert was great, the seats were made for seven year old kids, four feet tall. Ugh, if you don't mind smashed kneecaps, it is beautiful. We'll try different seats next time.

It's a very nice venue, but we sat in the balcony, the seats have no leg room, I moved to the isle, if the performance was sold out, I would likely have left

So much happening in this theatre...ballet, kids shows, National Geographic nights, Muse Machine performances, Summer movies. Might be in Haunted Ohio

What a gem. Gorgeously renovated and restored. Dayton is so lucky to have this beauty house and the Victoria Theatre Association.

We always look forward to dinner and a movie night with our friends. Victoria theater is a true Dayton classic. You will feel transformed back in time. Don't miss the balcony and the box seats are a treat to sit in. The staff was spectacular.

Management needs to pay closer attention to air quality

Absolutely beautiful theatre! Really makes you feel like your stepping back in time. Seats are a little squished, but I'm sure that was how it was many years ago. Excellent view from anywhere, and acoustically amazing setup.

Had a great time with my grandson. We went to see the Drifters and the Platters. Awesome

Fascinating presentation on Mars from one of the people who worked on the rovers. It was funny and interesting and I learned a lot.

The arts are great, this is the best place in the Dayton to see the arts!!!

This place is great. We used to go there on field trips with school, and now I take my kids.

The line to get in and the line to get out were both so well managed. We got in and out very fast. We were at the top of the balcony but there really are no bad seats in this theater!

Please be aware if you are on the taller or larger size that the seats are very tight. My husband is only 5' 8" and his knees rubbed. We had a great time!
