It's fixed a lot of its issues over the past year or so. They have the best latency (ping) out of all the different unwired services you'll get so if that's what your after , choose these guys

My business had to move locations. No other internet provider could accommodate our needs or timeline...(We needed internet access quickly.) The guys at UnWired were so helpful...and fast. They even came over after our move to make sure everything was working properly. I highly recommend them! The sales manager Phillip Brand was helpful, knowledgable and easy to get a hold of.

The internet is way faster than my previous internet provider. I live out in the country so service and internet isn't that good. I've had it for a month and I'm very satisfied and it's affordable! I'm paying way less than my previous provider too!

Idk what I got myself into I had moved and needed new internet so I had to switch from from xfinity but this quality of internet for the same price I had is way way slower and to get the same speed is about 200 dollars more I wish I knew before I'm not a satisfied current customer that's for sure I just want to make sure other people know this is just internet not fast good internet you need to pay a lot for that

I live in a rural area outside Visalia and Woodlake and I just want to say THANK YOU!!! I have been leaving in this home for almost 10 years and unWired Broadbad Inc. Is the only one that said "yes... we can service your house." I have a fast speed internet and I love it!

Worst customer no service. Called technical support they are blaming my equipment for the low speed
I paid for 3mbs and I get no more than 200kbs.
I would like to know if there are more customers like me who would like to do something about it.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

We had been using Hughesnet because it was the only internet available where we live. We saw a yard sign advertising unWired, so I contacted them and we have been more than satisfied with the service and quality of the internet! If you want good internet for a great value then unWired is for you!!!

I've had them for 18 months now. first 6 months were fine, i would have random internet connection issues. started small, randomly once in a while and i could always fix it by restarting my equipment, then started happening every night randomly from 7 PM-6 AM. After having this happen for about 5 months, with various troubleshooting on both my end and theirs, they came to the conclusion that there was nothing to be done and offered me two options: cancel my service or renew my 3 year contract at a discounted price. there is no other ISP in my area so i renewed the contract. now the issues happen randomly all day everyday. Bottom line: don't use these guys if you have alternatives out there. the cost is too high to have reliability that of other, cheaper, services out there.

Can't provide service in my new location and they are still billing me for canceling the contract when they are the ones forcing me to cancel. Its a win win for them.

Our internet has been down at our business for 4 days and we can t get any tech support on the phone or respond to emails.
For how much money we pay for this service, you think they would do a better job at communication with their customers.

During the fires in Mariposa in 2017, with the help of our generator, we never lost internet service. Even though the fire burned around Unwired's tower, we never lost service. This was a huge help in keeping up to date with fire information and connected to friends and family. Excellent customer service, as well as internet.

Decided to try unWired since all my friends have it and so far it is great. 9 megabytes per second for $107.99. So far 3 people using it on mobile devices plus 2 gaming consoles and no lag. Im glad for this last internet i had would cut off. No issues so far. Thanks unWired. The techs were nice not rude and installation was smooth.

Long term contracts. Horrible customer service. Slow speeds. Best of all, the service will go down for days at a time. Google "fresno microwave internet providers" to find better rated providers in rural areas.

At least once a day, the wifi will crash during important times. When we call to fix it, it still crashes and Sri times doesn t even turn back on till like 7 hours. My kids cannot even do online school because it s always down

Everything is great except there customer service. I waited 1 hour on the phone until I gave up trying. I did later get a call back and everything was good. I also wanted to know how this company is going to compete with Starlink that will bring faster internet at a better price to rural areas.

We have been having intermittent internet issues and they run some tests then have to call back. Its been a week with no real resolution.

We lived out in the country and for years we had lousy service from Hughesnet. Finally we heard about unwired. We were with them just shy of 2 years (we moved out of town). Service with Unwired was GREAT!! We had some issues and they were honestly AWESOME, they changed all components and then 1 tech found we had some star power strip that messed everything up, once it was changed everything was perfect. They truly went above and beyond what others would do. Thank you Unwired.

LOVE unWired Broadband Inc. This is the best service we have ever gotten. We live in a rural town and had used another company for 15 years. Our intranet connection was VERY slow and we felt we just had to put up with it. unWired was recommended by a cousin. We were very skeptical, but it's amazing. Don't wait, call unWired now and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!

I live in the mountains, at 5000 feet, and I work remotely as a Database Engineer 100%. I have also used Hughes Net. unWired is awesome! Faster with less latency than Hughes Net and much less expensive. It truly performs like wired broadband. Thank you!!!

Best wifi and tech service I have ever had.I have gotten ring doorbell and cameras, Chromecast, smart thermostat, & TV. Works good.Thanks to unwired . And thanks for great technicians that come out to your home. Thanks to Richard and Jermaire. They came out 8/20/18 to check my slow WiFi problem. Lol. It was my over grown trees. Husband is trimming them today.

Unreasonable and no human empathy. And long phone wait times to get basic service request. They received one star because the do have a great and fast internet. But the downside is you have to pay double of other providers and you have to deal with Unwired Poor service. The representatives are nice but the company gives them no wiggle room to help customers. They cut service after one month of non-payment. Strict, Ridgid. I would love to see this company step up. And put there customers first not there bottom line. Period

It is hard to find good internet when you live as far out of town as we do. unWired has served us well! They have always been quick to respond to any issues and the services are great! Highly recommend, as they they give you unlimited data!

My original email-only account was with Lemoorenet before Unwired purchased it. The transition was seamless and I was allowed to keep my original email address. At the time, I was an active duty, US Navy, sailor and deployed 6 to eight months very often. My webmail account has always been available from any location worldwide. No issues, no complaints. It works because of the quality and professional team that always has a solution whether you are here or on the other side of the world, or in the milddle of the great oceans. I am very satisfied and will continue to be their loyal customer even if I move within CONUS or OCONUS.

I live in the country where reception has always been a problem. Recently I had Unwired service installed and am very satisfied with their initial installation and so happy I don t have to worry about problems with connection, speed and reliability. Nice

We are very happy with Unwired. From the customer service to the install. It's hard to get good service in a rural area at a low price. Unwired changed that for our family! Great service and pricing. I will be recommending to my friends and family.

My experience was great they got my service up and running asap, there was a little issue in the beginning not getting service but that was promptly taken care of. Service is a little more expensive then other ISP's however there is no data cap, if you live in a rural area in the Central Valley it's just a no brainer solid service, I'm on the 9Mbps plan and it feels so much faster than that; it just works Youtube, Facebook, Netflix works ABSOLUTELY AMAZING it's made country living for me much more enjoyable!

For the people complaining about slower speeds there is a 30day trial if you're not able to figure out if its working for you within those 30 days I don't know what to say at that point.

My internet and experience with unWired Broadband is a great. I had a different provider, and it only gave me 2gb and was so slow. I pay less money and quality here is great. I cancelled all my other internet and cable providers to just keep unWired because all we do is watch movies, play xbox and online schooling

Works great! I can watch Netflix all day without any lag! I would recommend anyone that lives in rural areas to try it out! Thank You Unwired Broadband! Makes my life easier!!!

We have unWired Broadband for our business and they did a phenomenal job. The employees knew what they were doing and went further and beyond then expected.

The installation was quick and the persons who installed it were very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that my payment is taken out automatically and has online statements sent to my email each month.

I have had them for about 18 months . In the beginning it was awesome and then things progressed to bad.. honestly, I just don't believe their speed is what they promised for the price I am paying for. $159 every single month is just too much.. and I don't like their billing cycles. I like having a month of their service and it being due at the end of the month. you pay before the service.. Cannot wait to end this contract.

Happy we changed over to unWired Broadband. Before, we had a satellite provider and the speed was terrible. Additionally, we were limited to 10gb a month. After that we were throttled down and if we wanted more speed on our downloads, we have to buy more. Plus, when we changed over, the customer assistance was great and the installation went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this service.

As a rural resident, there aren't a lot of ISP options but I have not been disappointed by unWired.

I ve been leaving voicemails asking for someone to call me back for days now and no one does. If it s this hard to get someone to call me back to schedule an appointment to set up service I can t imagine how hard it s going to be if there s an issue with service.

You have been warned! I dont sit alone and please read all unwired reviews. I have been a customer for almost 2 years. In the beginning the service was great and friendly, but now it's horrible. They will charge you anyway they can and not post your payments properly and correctly. To make matters worse, if you try to reach out to managers or supervisors they will defend their staff and not listen to you. I recommend to you to not get unwired, do not get caught in a company that is not out for their customers and only out for themselves. You have been warned!! I am trying to get a hold of the owners but no luck. Bad, bad, bad.

Excellent company! We live in the country and have suffered thru data caps for years with satellite internet. Other wireless internet companies have never been able to get a good line of sight or signal for us to have wireless internet. UnWired found a great signal first time around and our internet has been excellent since day one. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Signed up for service yesterday. Lucked out and got installed today! Techs and customer service reps were both excellent. Helpful and friendly! We'll see what service looks like, but I can for sure already say it's 1000 times better than the hughes net services we have!!!

I recently signed up with these guys and they re absolutely amazing.

The speeds are solid and I can stream Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, EVERYTHING I need 1080p without buffering!

I have been saved from rural life.

Had billing issue and no one ever answers phone. Left voice mail and no one calls back.

Good company for wifi if you live in the foothills.

The service and product is great. It competes in town but if you live in the country no service better than Unwired Broadband!!!!

I got fast efficient service from Eric. He was able to quickly confirm that everything was ok up to my router. With the hints that he provided I was able to locate the problem and fix it in my own network. Always good service and internet access out here in the "wilderness".

Absolutely abysmal internet service. We were looking for WiFi strong enough to support multiple devices. We were given a network that barely passes .4 mb/s (compared to Xfinity, which normally clocks in well over 50 mb/s)
I do not recommend if you plan on using this network for more than one or two devices. At peak times, the network is almost unusable for anything more than google searches or loading emails, and even then, it struggles. Just to write this review, I had to swap to my phone data, since it wasn t able to load the page while I was using the WiFi.
EDIT: We upgraded our service, which worked great for about a month. Now, I have trouble trying to even do a Google search. I still hold to my original review. Do not get Unwired if you have more than 1 or 2 devices, and even then, don't bother. I've had our service go out more than 10 times today alone, having to switch to my phones data to be able to work.

Very good customer service. Good pricing , and also great for dairy businesses, because even in the remote places we get great signal. Because of this company we've been able to bring our business to the 21st century

I had unwired for two different locations in my home. The service was not functioning correctly and after lowering quality in one of my tv s and Alexa s it still did not perform adequately. I was within my month initial contract and am getting partial return or month fee. I requested installation fee be refunded since it never performed correctly. I was denied my request abs now am canceling both of my contracts. What could have been an easy one time refund turned into a $250 loss for their company. I would have kept one of the contracts.

I signed up for their services after being assured that they could get internet to my house but may have to install a pole to get a signal. I was having trouble getting a provider to my house. Yet, they didn't respond to my messages or ever set a date for install. A month later, after I have already gone through two other providers and found service, they give maecall back. Extremely unprofessional, if you need internet any time soon or appreciate your calls being returned, I wouldn't waste your time with this small, overpriced internet provider. Clearly they don't care about new clientele.

"Best wireless in the valley". All I can say is that doesn't say much for the alternatives. With so many four and five star reviews, you can come down with a bad case of false hopes here. Their sales folks are woefully informed as to the product they're selling, and most of the times you're told you'll get a follow-up call - don't hold your breath.
What I think I'm up against is a case of no one wanting to tell me the truth. And what I suspect that truth to be is that they're selling bandwidth they don't currently have to sell. Sorta like the airlines overbooking a flight and having to deal with the fact that everyone booked shows up on time. Somebody's gonna get left behind when the plane departs.
The equipment installed at my residence checks out - or so I'm told. I'm paying for 8MB Down and 1.5up, but there's whole stretches of time when my ancient dial-up days were faster. And that's no joke. We cussed and fumed through 7 or 8 years with Clearwire until Sprint shut them down. I'm beginning to feel like I miss them.

We live in the country and we pay the price for living out here. We only live 2 miles out of the city limits. For what we pay out here others in town pay 1/3 the price for double and triple the speed. We have no other options so they use that to their advantage. My brother in law and my brother both worked for this company and couldn't afford them either.

Great company on installation. I did have a problem with the router 2 years later but between Belkan and the technical staff of unwired they got it fixed for me. It is fast even if you live in country near the kings river. They are simply awesome. Thank you unwired Broadband!!!!!!

Have been with Unwired for going on five years now and had very few issues with connectivity over that time. Recently we had issues with the PtP hardware and they promptly changed out the equipment and we are back up and running strong.

Absolute worst internet service I have ever had. Should have known when they couldn't get a signal from the nearest tower right down the road.
1 device running and the buffering seems to never stop and constantly drops signal. 10 months in to a 2 year contract and stuck stuck stuck!!! Trying to run a business, HA! NOT happening.

The best internet provider by far that I have ever had. I would and do recommend them to everyone that asks. I have lived in the country for 15 years and until I found unWired Broadband I could never find reliable fast internet service. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I tried Hughs Net and Clear and neither comes even close to the product and service that unWired Broadband has delivered. Again I highly recommend unWired Broadband.

Worst costumer service ever someone can get .
No one will answer your calls . Long waiting and then no one is available to answer your call you can do this all day long . They was not able to fix my business internet for almost a month .
Lost too many transactions due to this and even to disconnect service cant get hold of anyone .

I have been an unwired customer for 10+ years. The service is so much worse than it use to be. I haven't had their guaranteed speed, or the 75% of it, for the last few years. They upped the price, said the speed went up to 2 Mbps. I rarely test over 1. I have never come close to 2 and it usually is in the .5Mbps. Netflix, Hulu, and hbo use to stream without lag or buffering. Now each always does. I actually went out and bought a digital antenna recently because cutting the tv cord isn't feasable when your internet speeds suck. I turn my wifi off on my phone now because 3G is usually faster than unwired broadband. I am probably going to get a hotspot through Verizon. Better service and faster speeds, even when it's throttled!

Okay here is my full review: it's awesome. For a country bumpkin such as myself, terrestrial microwave data transmission is nothing short of miraculous. Furthermore, The company's customer service is beyond reproach. Five stars five stars a million times five stars. -Paul

Worst customer service and horrible pricing. They use to be a good company but have went down hill over the last few years. I would not recommend them to anyone they try to force long time customers into plans by slowing down speeds.

This is so far The Worst internet provider company we have ever had. We had connection issues for almost 4month, customer support was very rude every time we call them, at end they decided to not give us technical support anymore. Besides that, we don't even receive the speed what we paying for(356KB/sec for download). And they willing to charge us $3500 for early termination fee? We will call The California Department of Consumer Affairs to get our service canceled.

Honestly whenever I call with some issues about my internet they take care of it quick. I appreciate their customer service. Love their internet service just wish I would of had them sooner that's how excellent it is. Thank you guys.

Have had unwired for over a year and it s just one problem after the next. We are paying for 9mbps and still only getting about half that. Kids can t play there games and if multiple devices are on then nothing will load. I ve been trying to get a tech to come out and still no luck. Disappointed with the service and thinking of switching providers unless taken care of.

I love the company and what they stand for.
The company does a great job providing services to areas where the traditional providers have decided its too costly to build out. unWired also serves the business customers with both primary and secondary connections in both undeserved and in town locations.
Being a part of a locally owned company ran by 4 great guys who really understand the importance of customer service is both fun and rewarding!

I live in a rural area so the internet i had before was wack.. I decided to give Unwired a shot and their service is the best, I highly recommend them to everyone..

So all my neighbors were able to get unwired, however I could not. They told me they would have someone call me or I could call,w I have multiple times and left messages, yet seems like nothing is being done. They want to survey my property and have me place a tower on my property so I, and others around can receive internet. I do not have a problem with this the reason for the bad review is it's been over 2 weeks and nothing.

There service is great never had a problem with our internet service.

The most friendly and reliable ISP I have ever had. I happily recommend them to everyone who mentions ISPs.

They worked with me for over an hour and tried to solve problem, but I m not that good on my end so problem really didn t get solved. Not their fault thou. Thnx

Always someone to help with any issues I have. Most not directly related to their service but involves internet and network problem solving on my system. Always call back when I leave a message. Mostly there 24/7 to answer my questions.
These people have the knowlage to keep me on line all the time. (Even helpped me with a Windows 10 issue I had).

Worst internet for gaming I don't recommend unless you don't have DSL or any other ISP like me.

This company has THE ABSOLUTE WORST support of any company I've ever done business with.

My internet service has been down since yesterday afternoon. Their "network status" page shows that everything is fine.

I called three times this morning. The first time, I was on hold for over 40 minutes before being forced to leave a voicemail. The second time, I was on hold for 5 minutes before being hung up on. The third time, I was directed to an answering service that could only take a message. They refused to put anybody from UnWired on the line, refused to put their supervisor on the phone, refused to do anything that could remotely be of any help to me. The one thing they did was tell me that there were some "radio and tower" issues (yet their network status page still shows no problems!).

I have had to call their support a number of times, and today's experience is only slightly more frustrating than usual.

Their sales people will be more than happy to talk to you and upgrade your service, but God help you if you need support from this company. Sadly, this is the only option in my area besides satellite.

I recently experienced a minor interruption in service. By the time I saw any problem with the service they were already fixing it. We have used their service for years with no problems and when one arises they beat you to it. Love their service.

Richard and Armondo was my service technicians they were great, very knowledgeable and kind I would definitely use them again

So far so good. The upfront cost were a little high but over time I know this was a wise use of my funds. Professional service with flexibility for our schedule. Most importantly the ground team that came in and did the work were self starters and didn't waste time.

Great customer service and reliable connection with good up-time. Only downside is it can be a little pricey but living in a rural area it's on par with other similar options. DSL and Cable are non-existent and having a faster alternative to Dial up or Satellite is crucial for telecommuting.

They have three things that set them apart from the competition. Great service great speeds and no limits on downloading. Sense i have been living in the country for most my life where there is no lan line to connect to other than dial up unwired is the best. they blow hughsnet out of the water in terms of speed price and best of all no limits on how much i can download in a month. These reasons are why i give them a 5 star rating.

Great staff both on the phone and in person. From the installation to the small problems I've had at home. Recently the routers used by the company have been breeched by malware; I called and they said a technician would get back to me. They took a couple of days due to the high volume of calls they were receiving because of the same issue. When a technician called back he gave me a coupe of options on how we could fix it, I opted to go down to the Fresno branch where they had the router fixed and ready to plug and play in less than ten minutes. Happy customer right here.

We have used unWired Broadband for several years for our business. There is a bit of a process to get set up but once it is up it has been set up and going it has been a reliable and reasonably fast service for a reasonable price. They have also been quite helpful with any issues that have come up and with the setup process.
