Union Jack is my favorite local soccer pub! They also have good food with plenty of potions for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
Union Jack is my favorite local soccer pub! They also have good food with plenty of potions for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
Clean environment with pleasant and helpful staff. Delicious cuisine, would recommend.
Food is great and the service is great! The fish & chips are delicious!
Veggie wrap and hummus was amazing and the service was awesome
Their pizza is second to none. I always get the House Deluxe. Every time I get there pizza, I just keep craving more. Definitely up there with my other two fav pizza spots (Baz and South of Chicago). Their beer selection definitely stands out as well, not to mention consistently excellent service.
I have never ever been disappointed coming here, their vegan food is perfect and they even have vegan dessert options while serving a great local craft beer selection. What a treat.
Great service. Great place to watch the world cup
One of the best soccer bars in the city if Indianapolis. Great vegan and vegetarian food options. Love the beer selection.
Great atmosphere and you can catch about any soccer game you want here. Lots of character. The food is their strong suit - way better than what you'd expect from pub food. Great vegan options and some of the best pizza in town.
Wonderful food and service! I always go for the deep dish.
I love this bar! Great food and atmosphere! It s definitely a pro Liverpool environment so never go there to cheer against them. The fries and pizza are great. Prices are fair and kinda cheap comparing to other bars in the Broad Ripple area
Tenderloin was burnt and the dip for my roast beef sandwhich had a terrible taste.
Poor service TV's where tiny. Food wasn't good and overpriced. Pitcher of Stella Artois was $22 and a 16" pizza was $30.
Came here for pork tenderloin week, the food was very good! I came with a group of four and we got seated quickly even though it was busy. The food took about 25 minutes. There were a ton of TVs with soccer games to watch.
I loved watching The Monday Night Show! The $5 pizza special was SO good and the drinks were 10/10!
Good options for vegetarians and vegans. Beer list is always good as well!
Decent atmosphere, solid beer list. Their Italian beef is really a French dip
Great place to watch soccer! Alway a good beer selection too! Make sure you join their beer club. If you finish it, there is a awesome dinner at the end of the year with awesome prizes! Get the spinach artichoke dip. It's the jam.
amazing pizza! They recommended the fish and chips, but I wasn't a fan. The fish was over breaded and over cooked.
A little bit slow for a lunchtime thing but the food was great.
My buddy and I had an idea to try one . Turned out great. Restroom could use a lot of work.
Amazing menu with several vegan items clearly marked (seitan, jackfruit, vegan cheezecake). The Buffalo seitan wrap was amazing! Decent beer list and a nice assortment of cocktails. Definitely something for everyone!
It was my 1st time ever going there. It was a very nice experience .I had nachos with pulled pork ..it was a little sweet but it was good. They give you more than enough. The waiter was very nice young man .It was all good
Go here. Great drink specials during the week and friendly staff.
Fir covid they have social distancing outdoor seating. It was great. Staff is smaller for the time being but service was still amazing as always!
The pizza was really good. They have a nice variety of beers as well
Service: 3/5, Quality: 5/5, Value: 3/5
Short version: Great food, nice atmosphere, not too crowded. Try their vegetarian "impossible Burger" - Highly recommended!
Longer version:
Service is about what you would expect for a restaurant. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of the items. They have been willing to find out answers to questions they don't know the answers to. Again, about what you'd expect.
Quality wise, this place is AWESOME. I've tried several different things on their menu and each one has been phenomenal. I'm an ominvore but my SO is a vegetarian of 17+ years. Most recently i tried their new vegetarian "Impossible Burger" and I must say-- it was phenomenal. I've had my fair share of meaty and vegetarian burgers and the impossible burger sure pulled it off. Texture and taste was on par with a meaty burger to the point that it made me do a double check on it. Pretzel buns were high quality and not cheap like I've been conned into getting at other restaurants. I've also tried their seitan wings which were pretty great. Haven't had anything I didn't like from their menu so it's nice to have a few choices.
Value wise, this is about what you'd expect to go out to eat, if not a bit more pricey for what you'd typically spend at a pub. I'm willing to look past that though since the food tastes so good that it is still worth it. Oh, just beware that if you get a side with your meal the fries are an extra $2 upcharge. Stick with the chips.
Watched the World Cup here . Met plenty of people from different countries. Best summer experience ever ! And the food is good !
I was doing Door Dash today and my directions were to sit at the bar and wait for the order. The manager told me I couldn't sit at his bar and told me to go to the back to wait. I was so upset and in awe of his blatant racism and disdain for me just because of the color od my skin. I felt like I was at a Woolworth counter in the South during the 50s. I went to the back where he then stalked after me and told me to sit in a far dark corner in the back.I cried in my car because I was so offended by his discrimination. Now I know why I rarely see black people in this establishment.
The food is delicious! The deep dish pizza is the best. Some of the wait staff could be a little more friendlier.
Was in the first wave of waitresses when this restaurant opened in 1980!!! Fabulous place to work eat and meet people!!!
Thank you rick Risingmoore for your vision!!!
Friendly soccer bar, good food, rotating beer selection. Gets a bit busy for Liverpool matches and Indy Eleven away games.
Absolutely wonderful decor to start with. Huge selection of beers and great food. If theres a Liverpool game on you can bet there will be some loyal fans watching here. Cuban sandwich is a banger
Not just one the few grown-up bars in Ripple, but they always have great service and top notch advice on their extensive beer list. Also a major soccer fan hangout on weekend mornings.
Delicious pizza pies are unique to the area and freshly made, so allow time. Owners care about service. Allow time to find parking during busiest hours.
Anything I've had off the menu has been great. Love this place.
Went in at 6:40p.m. July 4th, 2017. The short woman bartender was extreamly rude. She needs to be fired immediatly... I come here at least once a week. not anymore. I'll never set foot in that place again. She didn't even know how to say hello or happy 4th of July. Just a simple but rude "what is your order???"
Doesn't look like much do to Covid-19, but the two times I have been there the staff have made me feel like a VIP customer and the food vs. $$$$, WORTH IT. Get there early or dine there during off-peak hours for the best dining experience. This is a college part of town and beer is cherished in this area, so this place can get crowded and loud.
Friendly staff and great location. It's also an IU bar - go Hoosiers!
Loved the feel of this place. I'm from England, and felt right at home here. GREAT fish and chips!
We sat by the kitchen, and frankly, everything that came out looked great, but I can only personally speak for the pizza and chips/queso.
Pizza was excellent. Extremely filling. Queso was hearty and flavorful. Basically, what I would expect of quality pub food + a little extra. Great selection of beers on tap.
Only reason not giving 5 stars, is because we waited 15 or 20 minutes for service after sitting down. I am pretty confident it was an isolated incident though, because afterwards service was spectacular.
Great burgers, great fish and chips nice beer selection
At Union Jack, You'll Never Walk Alone. Pub-style pizza and a solid draft list make this an essential soccer bar. If there's a big game on, you'll want to get here early.
Nice place to meet people
A bit noisy though. Couldn't hear who I was talking too very well.
Good service and amzing food. Very aesthetic and looks pleasing to the eyes
Greatest pub in Indy. One of the greatest soccer pubs in the Midwest.
One of the few proper football pubs in Indy. If you're into BPL, they open early many Saturday's. Love the food selection, especially the pizza.
Great food and service! Had Union Jack cater a very special event and was very pleased. Exceptional food and customer service. Highly recommended!
Decent food, lots of options, great drink selection, friendly staff... can t go wrong.
Quaint pub atmosphere. Good brunch selection. Mimosa's were quite tasty! Service was fast and waitresses friendly. Extra parking in the back.
Typical pub with a well worth the wait deep dish pizza.
Probably the best Chicago-style deep dish pizza in town, but they have classic English pub fare as well. Great theme and decor. Huge craft beer selection on tap.
Food is delicious. Midday crowd relaxed. Great portions!
Union Jack is one of my favorite bars in Broad Ripple. The pub style feel is a perfect vibe to relax and enjoy a mid day beer on my lunch break. It's also a really comfortable spot to hit up on date night, dinner with friends, or a casual celebration. I definitely recommend stopping in and grabbing a pint!
Classic pub, sports bar..love the open windows on bripple street!
Has one of the best bloody Marty's in town and amazing pizza!
Service is a little above average, but certain foods are delicious. Hard to get certain items not over cooked though.
Staff was great for an early Saturday schedule of Premier League matches. Very attentive and the biscuits and gravy were pretty good too!
